Named after Dr. Thomas Oscar Fuller, an African American clergyman and teacher from Memphis, the 1,138-acre state park is a beautiful, historic site providing 45 campsites, six miles of hiking trails and a swimming pool and nature center open during the summer. During construction, workers found the remains of an ancient village, now reconstructed as the Chucalissa Indian Village; the site also contains the C.H. Nash Museum, which displays artifacts recovered from the area. The park is located southwest of Memphis, near Lake McKellar and beside the T.O. Fuller Park Golf Course.
Open year round.
Free entry. Overnight rates vary.
